About Beth McLennan

Hello! I’m an Agent here at Westwater Realty. I fell in love with Colorado when I first moved here in the late 80’s. Although life took me elsewhere a few times over the years, I’ve always come back. My family of five has the great privilege to call Colorado our home, and I would be honored to have the opportunity to help you with the incredibly important decisions necessary when buying or selling a home here. Helping people make smart choices in real estate is something that means a lot to me.

As they say, I came here for a winter to ski, and stayed for the summers. I’ve lived in Breckenridge, Boulder, Aspen, and now am a homeowner in Louisville. After my ski bum stint, I graduated from CU-Boulder with a degree in geography, during which I studied wildland fire ecology and was on the Board of the CU Environmental Council. I like to keep things interesting, and that shows in my career—in addition to being a REALTOR®, I have worked in the hospitality industry, as an urban planner, an at-home mom to baby twins and a preschooler, and also spent a highly enjoyable half decade in live event operations. Playing a behind-the-scenes role in helping events and festivals such as Bonnaroo, Outsidelands, Life is Beautiful, Forecastle, Lockn, Bohemian Nights, and many others run smoothly and successfully taught me how to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple moving parts at once. That comes in handy when doing real estate transactions!

I’ve also been involved in the housing industry over the years. With a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Illinois, years of service on a zoning board of appeals, and experience managing full home renovations down to the studs (an 1870s farmhouse and a 1950s rancher so far), I bring a wealth and diversity of experience to meet your residential real estate needs. My phenomenal team here at Westwater Realty is also with me every step of the way. We have a cooperative environment where all of us care deeply about finding the perfect solution for each and every one of our clients.

Life is for living, and when I am not working, I love spending time traveling and enjoying the outdoors—whale watching in Baja, walking the Freedom Trail in Boston, on raft trips in Utah with friends and family (including the dog!), hiking in the backcountry, or lounging on a sunny patio with a cold beverage. I also believe strongly in community service. I volunteer as a member of the Louisville Cultural Council, one of the chefs each year at the Community Food Share Farm-to-fork Benefit Dinner, the security liaison for the Boulder Jewish Festival, and for the past year I have been deeply involved with resettlement efforts for our Afghan allies who had to flee their home country.

Finding the right real estate agent is about finding someone who has your back, will be your ally, and will give their all for you. I can be that person. Give me a call, send me an email, or we can go grab a coffee and talk about what you’re looking for. Let me put my knowledge and dedication to work for you.
